Applications

Fodina is a Website. But beside the pages, fodina also offers software, written by the author. Fodina wants to offer you also these applications. Here are the rules:

  1. External software connected to fodina by links are exclusively determined by their own licences and conditions. The range of fodinas licences is determined by the domain fodina.de
  2. The fodina software itself is mostly offered under the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free Software Foundation; either version 2 of the License, or (at your option) any later version. For details have a look at the software tarballs themselves.
  3. In some cases it's better to offer a licensing with exception or dual licensing model: EPL and GPL seems to be incompatible . Fore such cases the GNU organization offered a solution: the exception clause. Another solution could be the dual/multi licensing. Therefore some modules / packages are doubly licensed or the license contains an exception. (For details of license combination see also the analyzis of the license compatibility.)
