The Core of Nonsense is Sense
"A man should plant a tree, build a house and father a son!"
Well, even if this doesn't make any sense, it establishes enough stress - for men! (BTW: Does anyone know the author of this rule? And does anyone knows the corresponding rule for women?)
Well - for fathering a son, it's to late. My house is only a flatlet. Hence I should at least cultivate an apple tree.
